2025 Recipient: Annabella P. Grace

The Diocese of Fall River has presented the Pope St. Pius X Youth Award annually since 2001. This award, named in honor of Pope St. Pius X, who founded our diocese in 1904 and held a deep commitment to the youth of the Church, is bestowed upon one deserving high school student from each parish.

The award celebrates the dedication and generosity of our youth in their service to Christ, His Church, and their local parish communities.

On Monday, May 12th, at St. Mary's Cathedral in Fall River, Bishop DaCunha presented the award to Annabella P. Grace.

Annabella is well-known throughout our community for her kindness and charitable spirit. She has been a dedicated altar server since the fourth grade and has consistently provided invaluable support to our faith formation teachers and office staff. Additionally, Annabella has been instrumental in organizing events such as the Christmas Pageant and assisting with sacramental preparation.
