Build-A-Bed 2026

For the past four years, our Faith Formation students have sold Hilliard’s candy bars to raise money for the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless - A Bed for Every Child program. So far, over the last 4 years we have purchased 121 beds and raised over $50,000. This year, we hope to continue this Lenten project and have set a goal of purchasing another 30 beds, at $350/ bed, that will be targeted for needy children in our area.

Build A Bed 2025 - another great success! 

Thank you to all of the students, families and parishioners of St. Ann's who due to their generosity and efforts raised another $10,500 this year to purchase 30 beds for needy children in our area. This brings our total for the last 4 years to 120 beds and over $43,000! 

On Saturday, we had 137 volunteers who worked together in teams to build the beds. It was a great opportunity for everyone to work together for a great cause. Thank you to those who bought candy bars and /or donated money to purchase the beds. A special thank you to Betsy and Tom McDermott who donated 34 no-sew blanket kits for our Confirmation students to make blankets to go along with the beds.
