What is OCIA?
Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA) is a process for those who would like to learn more about the Catholic faith and prepare to enter the Church through the Sacraments of Initiation at Easter.
Who can be a part of the OCIA?
- Someone who is unbaptized
- A baptized Christian who is interested in the Catholic
Church
- A baptized Catholic who has not received First Reconciliation,
First Holy Communion, and/or Confirmation
- A Catholic who would like to know more about their faith

Our Program
When are the meetings?
OCIA meets at 7:00pm in the parish hall on Tuesday nights of the academic year.
What materials are used?
Symbolon: The Catholic Faith Explained, Video Series
The Catholic Faith Explained is a systematic presentation of our Catholic Faith. It will lead you through the "big picture" of the Catholic Faith and our Creed is the guide.
This Is Our Faith: A Catechism for Adults, Book
By Michael Pennox, this book is specifically designed for Catholic adults, for those who are new to the church, and especially for those who are journeying through the Order of Christian Initiation for Adults
